Black & White Diary - Week 1
As some of you may know, last year on Instagram I did the Fat Mum Slim photo a day challenge.

I considered doing it again this year, however the prompts often dont interest me/are hard to do last minute.

I wanted to do another 365 project and 52 week project at the same time again, I had come up with an idea to do a black and white project for the 52 Week Project, however after Day 1 I decided to do that as my 365 project and make it into a diary (since I am so horrible at keeping normal diaries). I have also added a song for each day so at the end of each month I will have a play list - this was inspired by the first day.

Since I kept up the posting of the 52 week project monthly, I decided to see if i could go weekly!

anyway on to the photos:

1. 7.25am New Year's Day - petrol station filling up my brothers car, on the way to the hospital to get my injury from the other day checked out. In pain. Pink Floyds 'Wish You Were Here' on the radio. Roads are almost deserted. Everyone in my family is exhausted and slightly grumpy, cold and dreary summer morning.

2. 2.50pm January 2nd - spending most of my day laying in bed, dozing, watching YouTube videos. My last day of holidays, not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow, mostly because I am still in a fair amount pain and will need to put on a certain item of clothing tomorrow that will make the bruises and aches worse. Kept trying to find a playlist on Spotify that fit in with my mood today, after going through about 8 or so I finally found one that played 'Black Hole Sun' by Soundgarden and for some reason it made me incredibly happy

3. 12.40pm January 3rd - in my boss' car he is driving me home, pain is too much to deal with at work so I am finishing up early. Champagne Supernova by Oasis is playing on the radio, that makes me laugh because my bruises look a bit like supernovas. Think I might take a couple of painkillers and have a nap.

4. 4.11pm January 4th - Apparently due to flooding/roof collapsing in multiple parts, we are not allowed back to work until further notice (with pay!). It is my father's birthday and unfortunately due to our own flooding at home we still have noisy carpet dryers in until at least tomorrow. So I am chilling out the back again with my two babies (pixie the dog, cookie the bird) laying on a towel, reading Prozac nation. Imogen Heap's 'You Know Where to Find Me' playing on my tablet. Quite a nice summer afternoon, only downside is so many mosquitos.

5. 2.23pm January 5th - Sitting at a cafe at the shopping centre with the Mother and the father, Shakira's 'Underneath Your Clothes' is playing on the mall speakers. The fans and carpet driers have not been taken away, stuck with them again. We had to get out of the house for a bit, not only is it hot at home but the fans are so loud, after 3 days of them we are all getting headaches. Luckily they can go off at night. This milkshake was not the best only got half way through it. Did buy some summery clothes though, as well as some pamper stuff and a crap tonne of bubble mix to keep the puppy entertained.

6. 2.53pm January 6th - 'Tiger Striped Sky' by Roo Panes is playing on Spotify, laying in the backyard on a towel again, we are stuck with two of the heater/fans until probably Sunday now. I am covered in mosquito bites, my clothes and hair are slightly wet after hosing down a hot puppy, cookie bird has been sprayed lightly with water a couple of times, and my ribs are aching, however I am quite comfy laying here, I could fall asleep at any second.

7. 5.45pm January 7th - currently playing 'Killer' by Phoebe Bridgers. Still outside. Still hot. Still have fan/heaters here. Everyone is irritable. It is upsetting the dog a bit. I had to coax her out of hiding in the garden with bubbles. She seems a bit happier now. Think I am gonna block out the world and read another fear street book. It is too hot to focus on Prozac Nation, I need something familiar, something simple, something comforting.

Hope you enjoyed the first week! Just in case you didnt hear the injury I talk about (and I may make a full post on this soon) but I slipped in my bathroom on the 30th of December and hit my chest on the side of the tub.

Also for these photos I used the Hipstamatic app on my iPhone 6s the app lense was Florence and the app film was BlacKeys XF (and the flash I used on day 2 was Cherry i think)
